The first thing to do when you receive a new Mudita Bell or Bell 2 is to charge the device for at least 2-3 hours.

Bell 2 lasts up to a few months of moderate use on one charge. Charging from 5% to 100% takes about 5 hours with a 5V USB charger. To hear the battery level, press and hold the main button for about 2 seconds.

You can change the alarm melody and volume, and choose whether the clock face lights up when the alarm rings.

Here is a quick guide on how to set the time of the alarm on a Mudita Bell or Mudita Bell 2 and turn the alarm on and off.

When the alarm is activated on a Mudita Bell or Bell 2, it will ring when the clock's hour hand (the shorter black one) reaches the alarm hand (the orange one).

The alarm doesn't actually stop when it's left alone for 3 minutes. Like most alarm clocks, the Mudita Bell and Mudita Bell 2 have a snooze feature.

The Mudita Bell and Mudita Bell 2 clocks include an alarm light feature. If activated, the clock face will light up once the alarm is triggered.

The Mudita Bell 2 has a timer that can be set for 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes. This feature is absent in the first-generation Bell.

Peel the protective film off slowly from one corner, with dry, clean fingers. Do not use a knife or anything sharp.

The Mudita Bell and Bell 2 alarm clocks don't require any special maintenance, but there are a few things to keep in mind to allow the clocks to perform as intended.
