Removing the protective film

Peel the protective film off slowly from one corner, with dry, clean fingers. Do not use a knife or anything sharp, since the body is plastic and scratches easily.

Remove the film

1. Put the clock face up on a flat, soft surface such as a towel
2. Find a corner of the film
3. Lift the corner with your fingernail
4. Pull the film back slowly and flat, close to the surface
5. Wipe off any fingerprints with a clean, dry cloth

Good to know

• Do not press on the knobs at the back while you work, and set the clock down upright afterwards.
• Clean Bell 2 with a clean, dry cloth only. Harsh cleaning products can stain the plastic.
• If the film leaves marks, a dry microfibre cloth usually removes them. Do not use solvents.
