MuditaOS K 1.1.0

MuditaOS K 1.1.0 is the first system update for Mudita Kompakt. It makes apps start faster, unlocking smoother, and fixes texting during calls, Wi-Fi password errors and USB file access.

What changed

System

• Faster start-up for Alarm, Calendar, Camera, Maps, Phone and SMS.
• No full screen refresh when you unlock the phone.
• Fixed sending and receiving SMS during a voice call.
• Fixed Wi-Fi password error handling.
• Files and folders appear straight away when you unlock Kompakt while it's connected to a computer, without replugging the cable.
• You can accept the terms during setup without scrolling to the bottom.
• Volume safety warning for Bluetooth headphones.
• A notice that Offline+ is on when you make an emergency call.
• Lower frontlight intensity.
• The Updater app is hidden from the Apps menu after first launch. You can show it again in settings.

Apps

• Camera: faster preview loading.
• Chess: clearer confirm move button and a new move history icon.
• E-reader: default text size is now medium, and you can change it.

How to update

1. Connect Kompakt to the internet.
2. Open the Control Center, tap the Settings icon, then About and Software Update.
3. Tap Update, accept the licence if asked, then tap Restart phone when it's done.

A new Kompakt may offer 1.1.0 during setup, then newer versions right after. Each later release includes these changes.
