Try the update again on a stable internet connection, check that downloads over mobile data are allowed if you are not on Wi-Fi, then restart Kompakt. A factory reset is the last resort.
Try these steps in order
1. Check for the update again
- Make sure Kompakt is connected to the internet
- Press the Control Center button
- Tap the Settings icon
- Tap Software Update
- If an update is available, tap Update
2. Check your connection
Use a stable Wi-Fi network if you can. Updates are large, and a weak signal can stop the download.
3. Allow downloads over mobile data
If you have no Wi-Fi, Kompakt needs permission to use mobile data:
- Press the Control Center button
- Tap the Settings icon
- Tap Network & Internet
- Tap Mobile Network
- Tap the Mobile data Toggle switch to allow Kompakt to use mobile data
4. Restart Kompakt
Hold the power button for 2 seconds, select the power off option, then press the power button to turn it on again. Try the update once more.
5. Factory reset, only as a last resort
A factory reset deletes everything on your phone. Your MuditaOS K version stays the same. Back up first with Mudita Center: under Your Kompakt, click Overview, then Create backup.
- Press the Control Center button
- Tap the Settings icon
- Tap System
- Tap Factory Reset
- Tap Factory Reset
- If you are sure you want to delete all your data, tap Factory Reset
Still not working?
Contact customer support and tell us your MuditaOS K version and at which point the update stops.
