What SIM cards does Pure use? Is there eSIM support?
The Mudita Pure can hold up to 2 Nano-SIM cards. The phone does not support eSIM.
Will Pure work with AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile?
Mudita Pure is designed to be global and carrier-free, but there are certain limitations imposed by US carriers.
Does Pure support group and photo messages?
Unfortunately, the Pure does not support photo or video messages. They would be difficult to implement due to the limitations of the phone's e-ink display.
Can I lock Pure with a PIN or password?
Yes, it is possible to have both a PIN and a passcode on a Mudita Pure.
Is Mudita Pure waterproof?
No. Mudita Pure is not waterproof, so keep it away from water and rain.
What are the Mudita Pure SAR values?

What ringtones does Pure have?
Similarly to most phones, the Mudita Pure has selectable ringtones and will ring when called, unless it's set to its "do not disturb" mode.
Can I listen to music on Pure?
The Mudita Pure does have a dedicated music player app. Users can listen to audio files that they upload to the device.
Is Mudita Pure certified?
Mudita Pure has FCC, CEC&DoE, IC DoC, CE, RCM and UKCA DoC certifications, so it should work in most countries. AT&T and Verizon do not certify it.
Does Pure show missed calls and support voicemail?
As with practically any other phone, the Mudita Pure will show missed calls if you're unable to pick up.
Can I check email or use apps on Pure?
The Mudita Pure is a simple feature phone which never uses an internet connection on its own (only when tethering).
How does Pure keep radiation low?
While designing Mudita Pure we considered people dealing with electrohypersensitivity (EHS), so we have two antennas in one area of our phone, which switch depending on the range.
What is in the Mudita Pure box?
The Mudita Pure box contains the phone, a USB-C cable, a quick start guide and a SIM ejector pin. It does not come with a charger.
What screen color schemes does Pure have?
Both the Charcoal Black and Pebble Gray Pure will have a light screen background and black text by default.
Does the Pure display have a frontlight?
The Mudita Pure's e-ink display has a frontlight that can be turned on or off in the phone's settings.
How many contacts can Pure store?
The Mudita Pure does not have a specific limit of the number of saved contacts. The only limiting factor is the phone's memory storage size.
Does Pure support T9 or predictive text?
The Mudita Pure does not support T9 or any other form of predictive writing.
What languages does Pure support?
Pure comes with English, Polish, German, Spanish and French. Swedish is also available, maintained by the open-source community.
How long do the Pure buttons last?
Each Pure button is rated for at least 100,000 clicks before it fails.
How much memory does Pure have?
The Mudita Pure is equipped with 64 MB SDRAM and 16 GB eMMC flash storage.
What USB connection does Pure use?
Like most modern devices, the Mudita Pure is equipped with a USB-C port.
Does Pure have GPS? Can I be tracked?
The Mudita Pure never connects to the Internet or interacts with GPS. The GPS module is present but disconnected, so no third party can track you online, though your carrier can still track calls and texts.
Does Mudita Pure have a camera?
No, the Mudita Pure is not equipped with a camera.
Does Pure support Bluetooth and Wi-Fi?
The Pure does not have a Wi-Fi module, so it does not support Wi-Fi in any way.
Can I select a network manually on Pure?
The Mudita Pure automatically chooses the network with the best available signal. It isn't possible for users to select a specific network.
What if Pure does not work with my carrier?
If the Pure does not work on the networks in your area, try another carrier. If you can't change carrier, contact Customer Support to request a refund, handled like a warranty claim.
What networks and carriers does Pure work with?
The Pure operates on 2G/3G/4G/LTE bands available globally, so it should work with most carriers where we ship. In the US, use T-Mobile, as Verizon and AT&T restrict the Pure.
Will blocked numbers transfer to Pure?
The Pure does not enable blocking numbers.
What makes Mudita Pure secure?
The Mudita Pure is a very secure phone with a proprietary system that receives digitally-signed updates and doesn't support third-party applications. It also has no internet access, so you can't be tracked online.
Is MuditaOS open source, and on what license?
Mudita OS is released on the GNU GPL v3 License.
Does Pure have GPS and maps?
The Mudita Pure does not support GPS.
