What is Mudita Center for?
Mudita Center is a free desktop app for Windows, macOS and Linux. It lets you back up, update and manage Mudita Kompakt and Mudita Harmony over a USB-C cable, with no account needed.
Where can I download Mudita Center?
Download Mudita Center 4.0.0 from mudita.com for Windows 10 or newer, macOS (native on M-series) or Linux (not ARM). Center 4.0 no longer supports Mudita Pure: Pure owners can ask support for the legacy version 3.2.1.

Connecting Kompakt to Center
Open Mudita Center on your computer and connect Kompakt with a USB-C cable. Kompakt then appears under Your Kompakt.
How to create a backup for Kompakt
In Mudita Center, open Your Kompakt, then Overview, and click Create backup. You protect the backup with a password.
How to restore Kompakt from a backup
In Mudita Center, open Your Kompakt, then Overview, click Restore from backup and pick the backup you want.

Mudita Center 4.0 (April 2026) no longer supports Mudita Pure. Pure owners can get the legacy Center 3.2.1 from support, mainly to move data from Pure to Kompakt.
