Connecting Kompakt to Center

Open Mudita Center on your computer and connect Kompakt with a USB-C cable. When it connects, Kompakt appears under Your Kompakt and you can open Overview, Contacts and Manage Files.

Connect Kompakt

1. Download Mudita Center for Windows, macOS or Linux from mudita.com and install it
2. Open Mudita Center
3. Connect Kompakt to your computer with a USB-C cable
4. Unlock Kompakt
5. Wait until Kompakt appears under Your Kompakt
6. Click Overview to see your device

What you can do in Center

• Import contacts from Google, Outlook, or a CSV or vCard file, delete contacts and merge duplicates
• Create and restore backups
• Add photos, music and e-books, and install apps from Manage Files
• Update MuditaOS K

If Kompakt does not connect

1. Disconnect the cable, restart Kompakt and connect again
2. Restart Mudita Center, or restart your computer
3. Check that the cable is fully inserted at both ends and the ports are clean
4. Try another USB-C cable. Some cables only charge and cannot transfer data.
5. Reinstall Mudita Center
6. Try another computer if you have one

Seeing your files in the computer's file manager is a separate setting. If files do not show, set USB Preferences to File Transfer on Kompakt.
