Turn mono audio on or off
- Press the Control Center button
- Tap the Settings icon
- Tap Accessibility
- Find Mono audio in the audio section
- Tap the Mono audio Toggle switch
When to use it
Mono audio helps if you hear better with one ear, or if you often wear only one earbud. Music and calls that use separate left and right channels will then sound complete in either ear. You can also shift the sound towards one side with Audio balance in the same section.
