How to add a new keyboard layout

Short answerGo to Settings, then System, then Language and Keyboard, and add a layout under Keyboard Settings.

Step by step

  1. Press the Control Center button
  2. Tap Settings icon
  3. Tap System
  4. Tap Language and Keyboard
  5. Tap Keyboard Settings
  6. Tap Languages and Styles
  7. Tap the Plus icon
  8. Tap Layout
  9. Select the Layout you want to add
  10. Tap the Back arrow icon
  11. Tap Language
  12. Select the language you want to use
  13. Tap the Back arrow icon
  14. Tap Add
