Short answerAdds Maps navigation with voice guidance, an 80% charge limit with battery health info, a music widget and new accessibility settings.
A major update with a large number of fixes and improvements. You can install MuditaOS K 1.2.0 only from version 1.1.1, so update Kompakt to MuditaOS K 1.1.1 first.
Highlights
- Maps: navigation with voice guidance in 8 languages, in Map Navigation or Step-by-Step mode, starting from your location, with up to 3 intermediate points
- Battery: an option to limit charging to 80%, a battery health indicator, the charging cycle count, and the battery's manufacturing and first-use dates
- Accessibility: touch and hold delay, pop-up duration, "Power button ends call", manual call vibration, touch feedback vibration, audio balance and mono audio
- Music: a home screen widget to play, pause and skip tracks, and many playback fixes
- Phone: hide your caller ID, a notice when an emergency call is not possible because Offline+ is on, and better contact search
- SMS: delivery reports, flash SMS saved to the inbox and better scaling of MMS images
- Lock screen: a "None" unlock option; the screen now wakes only for a registered fingerprint; a hidden button that could unlock the phone was removed
- Updater: release notes on the software update screen; the Updater moved from About to the main Settings list
- eSIM: Wi-Fi calling now works on an eSIM, a disabled eSIM stays on the SIM list, and you can choose to remove the eSIM during a factory reset
- Keyboard: suggestions in third-party apps, faster suggestions and a fixed AZERTY layout for French
- Alarm: the alarm list shows the days an alarm rings, the volume buttons snooze an alarm, and the snooze time (5 minutes) is shown
The full list also covers Bluetooth, the Control Center, Display, Launcher, Calendar, Camera, Chess, E-reader (the meditation cards were removed), Meditation, Weather, Onboarding and Security. It is in the PDFs below.
