MuditaOS K 1.3.0

This update brings Music playlists, a list of previously connected Bluetooth devices and a new fingerprint Unlock Mode, along with fixes across the system.

Battery

• Fixed the missing display of the battery's first-use date

Connected devices

• Added a list of previously connected devices to the Connected Devices settings for easier Bluetooth device management
• Fixed the incorrect Bluetooth connection status when several devices are connected
• Fixed a connected device losing its connection label and showing as disconnected while still connected

Lock screen

• Improved lock screen sensitivity to prevent accidental or unauthorized unlocks, for example in a pocket
• Improved the duration of the swipe-up gesture on the lock screen for the same reason
• Added an Unlock Mode option in Manage Fingerprints to choose how the fingerprint scanner unlocks the phone: Touch (place a finger on the scanner) or Press then Touch (press and release the power button, then place a finger on the scanner)

Network and Internet

• Added an option to select a mobile network operator manually
• Added UTF-8 character support for Wi-Fi and Hotspot password fields

System

• A factory reset now asks for your passcode when Kompakt is protected by a passcode, or by a passcode and fingerprint

Launcher

• Fixed the App Updater being set to "On" in the apps layout after an OS update

Music

• Swipe the player to minimize or maximize it
• Changing the playback speed no longer changes the pitch
• Playlists: open them from the navigation bar, create a playlist, add songs while creating it or later, search for songs to add, see your playlists sorted alphabetically, play from a playlist (its title shows in the player), and remove songs or delete a playlist while viewing it. The mini player is hidden while you edit a playlist.

SMS

• Fixed unexpected app crashes

Security patches

• Fixes for vulnerabilities in kernel drivers and wireless connectivity

How to update

1. Connect Kompakt to the internet.
2. Open the Control Center, tap the Settings icon, then Software Update. Since MuditaOS K 1.2.0 it is in the main Settings list.
3. Tap Update, accept the license if asked, then tap Restart phone when it's done.
